Welcome to R and R Lhasa Apso's. We have been Breeding, Showing and Handling Lhasa Apso's for the past 34 years. Fifteen of those years were spent in Worcester, Massachusetts. We are presently located in Southern California, the OC, in a little town called Stanton, which is 4 miles up the street from Disneyland and three miles from Knotts Berry Farm.

All of our Lhasa Apsos are home-raised with plenty of love and care. We pride ourselves in breeding quality Lhasa Apsos with wonderful temperments. Our line consists of the Remarc, Lori Shan and Maijo line of Lhasa Apso's. A Pedigree of our basic line can be seen under our Pedigree Tab.

The Lhasa Apso is a Tibetan breed developed by the Dalai Lama that takes its name from the capital city of Tibet, Lhasa. This is a small but sturdy dog, covered from head to tail with a long, dense, hard coat that protected them in the harsh Tibetan climate. He is a guardian by nature, having an acute sense of hearing to assist him in guarding the temples and alerting his masters of anything irregular. His nature is independent and he approaches life in a calm and deliberate manner. Seldom a pet, rather a companion-often a clown but never a fool! The Lhasa Apso has a wonderful temperment. If you are not feeling well your Lhasa Apso is always there to comfort you and is just happy being by your side. Their nature is that they aim to please. Lhasa Apso's are also wonderful dogs for the obedience ring.
